Key Responsibilities

• Administering thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care approaches
• Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions, with a collaborative or independent approach as per your credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your professional scope

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent in your field of specialty
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or be prepared to obtain within 90 days)
