Job Details Setting: Outpatient Clinic / Family Medicine / Ambulatory Care Location: Portland, OR 97216 Start Date: 09/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 8-hour days Shift Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 08:00 - 17:00 Hours Per Week: 40 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,900 - $2,000 Orientation: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Nursing Charting System: Epic preferred and required for consideration Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with Oregon and Washington licensure upon hire BSN required Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years Experience in primary care, ambulatory care, FQHC, or telephone triage Strong Epic In Basket and triage experience preferred AHA BLS required Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and provide excellent patient-centered care Comfort working with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics Responsibilities Provide nurse telephone triage, advice, and follow-up support in an outpatient clinic setting Assist with in-clinic triage and respond to urgent patient needs in person or by phone Support wellness, prevention, and routine care for patients across the lifespan Help manage minor injuries, common illnesses, and chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension Coordinate care for behavioral health, reproductive health, pediatric care, and preventive services Perform medication reconciliation, patient education, and follow-up communication Use strong clinical judgment to prioritize care and promote positive patient outcomes Collaborate with the care team to deliver compassionate, efficient outpatient nursing support Apply now for this Portland, Oregon travel Registered Nurse opportunity and join a team dedicated to high-quality outpatient care.
