VACANCY–COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT (MULTIMEDIA & GRAPHIC DESIGN) St. Vincent Electricity Service Limited (VINLEC) is seeking to recruit an innovative, dynamic and results-oriented individual to fill the position ofCommunications Assistant (Multimedia & Graphic Design).

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Communications Officer, the Communications Assistant (Multimedia & Graphic Design) supports the Company’s function through thecreation, editing and management of visual, graphic, photo, video and multimedia content for internal and external communication. The position contributions to the professional presentation ofVINLEC’s brand, campaigns, public education, events and corporate initiatives across print anddigital channels. Key responsibilities will include: Capturing photo and video content for Company activities, projects, events, campaigns, public education and other approved communication purposes. Designing communication materials for print and digital channels including posters, flyers, notices, presentations, social media graphics and other visual assets for campaigns, customer education and public relation activities Helping to maintain brand consistency across communication materials, visual assets and digital channels Liaising with approved printers, suppliers or service providers on design specifications, proofs and production requirements Maintaining organised archives of photographs, videos, design files, templates and approved visual assets.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Media Production, Visual Communication, Digital Media or a related field A minimum of three (3)years’ experiencein graphic design, photography, videography, multimedia production or related environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong graphic design, photography, videography and multimedia editing skills Proficient in relevant design, photo editing, video editing and presentation software Good understanding of branding, layout, typography, colour, composition and visual storytelling Strong written and oral communication Attention to detail, accuracy and consistency Manager, Human Resources and Administration St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited P.O.
