SCHOOL OFFICE ASSISTANT II (Carroll Elementary School)

Clerical Support Position

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform complex and varied clerical support duties requiring an understanding of the operations, procedures, and functions of an assigned school office; assist in assuring smooth office operations.

School office experience preferred. Possession of a valid First Aid, CPR, and AED Certificate issued by the American Red Cross or other authorized agency identified by Elk Grove Unified School District, within six months of initial employment. No online courses for CPR and AED will be accepted. Additionally, the Certificate must be renewed before its expiration.

• Typing Certificate (Must attach a certificate verifying typing speed of 35 (net) words per minute on a 5 minute timed test at the time the application is submitted. Typing certificates will only be accepted from business organizations/institutions that verify completion of a 5-minute timed writing, state gross words per minute, number of errors, and indicate a minimum of 35 (net) words per minute. Internet and high school typing tests will not be accepted.)
