Surgical Technologist Inventory & OR Support - (Full-time or Part-time)

This unique fixed-site role supports our ophthalmic surgery program by managing surgical inventory, ordering supplies, performing inventory counts, coordinating instrument readiness, and assisting with OR room turnover alongside the facility surgical team. This position is primarily focused on inventory management and operational support, with the potential to scrub ophthalmic cases in the future as business needs evolve.

Who Were Looking For:
- Certified Surgical Technologist : Must hold a degree in Surgical Technology and be certified or eligible to be certified through the NBSTSA. Certification through the NCCT may be acceptable depending on territory assigned.
- Adaptable and Travel-Ready : Comfortable with driving to various locations in assigned territory and staying overnight when needed. All travel expenses are covered (hotel stays, gas for company vehicle, and meal allowances while traveling)
- Excellent Communicator : Able to build strong relationships quickly with surgeons and their teams.
- Self-assured : Able to thrive in high-pressure environments with confidence and professionalism.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented : Skilled at managing equipment and completing administrative tasks required to support assigned territory.
- Operating Room Experience : Ophthalmic experience is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport inventory and ophthalmic equipment between the off-site storage location and the ASC using a company-provided vehicle.
- Manage and maintain ophthalmic surgical inventory and supplies
- Order and replenish inventory while monitoring usage and par levels
- Perform routine inventory counts and maintain accurate records
- Assist with OR room turnover between cases alongside facility surgical staff
- Support efficient daily OR operations and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Potential opportunity to train and scrub ophthalmic procedures as the role evolves

Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)/driving record.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills will utilize a company iPhone and iPad
- Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with medical staff.
