As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while helping address security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time / Mix Shift

Pay Rate: $19.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Assist with maintaining a professional environment by communicating clearly with staff and visitors and escalating security-related concerns through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
