Patient Care Technician (PCT) Responsibilities Protect patients from injury caused by extraneous objects and chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal sources. Demonstrate safe operation of equipment machinery and follow procedures for reporting and correcting unsafe situations. Adhere to standard precautions, including the use of personal protective equipment. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the flow and efficiency of the center. Patient Care Technician (PCT) Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent. Certified Medical Assistant (MA), Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Patient Care Technician (PCT) preferred.
