Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• In-depth understanding of IEP processes and related documentation
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents
• Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to fostering student success

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of students’ physical abilities and needs within an educational context
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans as part of students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with established goals
• Offer consultation and resources to school staff and caregivers
• Document progress, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Train and assist teachers and staff in supporting students’ accessibility and safety throughout the school environment
