Job Summary:
Endoscopy Lab Specialist located in San Bernardino, California. This position involves providing endoscopy and gastrointestinal procedures with a healthcare provider that values experienced professionals. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of GI experience.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), COVID-19 Vaccine (fully vaccinated), Crisis Protocol Approved.
• Shift Schedule: Varied shifts of 8 hours, Monday through Friday, with start times dependent on the first case, arriving at least 1 hour prior. Call required: one evening shift per week (ending at 0700) and one weekend per month (48 hours).
• Location: San Bernardino, California.
• Unit type: Endoscopy/GI lab procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, MRCP, and biopsies.
• Additional responsibilities include managing moderate sedation (if anesthesia is unavailable).
• Operational details: Hospitalist or intensivist presence on-site; in-house pharmacy and respiratory therapy 24/7; float to PACU/ACU; floor-specific orientation available for 2-3 days.
• Other notes: Scrub color provided by department; shift cancellations allowed up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment; charting system in use is Cerner-Surginet.
