Frey Lutz Corp, located in Lancaster, has been Central PA's leading mechanical contractor for the past 48 years. We are a single-source solution from design through construction. The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, possess communication and organizational skills, be able to handle multiple tasks, and have the willingness to learn.

Position Summary

This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and works collaboratively with the Service Department to support operational and financial objectives. This position focuses on service-related purchasing, warranty processing, inventory documentation, and accurate financial recordkeeping. The role works closely with service technicians, vendors, and manufacturers and reports directly to the Accounting Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Process purchase orders for service-related parts, supplies, and equipment.

· Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely availability of materials for service operations.

· Process and track manufacturer warranty claims and warranty returns.

· Maintain accurate records of warranty credits, reimbursements, and outstanding claims.

· Verify pricing and coding of service purchases for proper accounting.

· Maintain organized records of purchasing, warranty documentation, and vendor files.

· Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations related to service operations.

· Communicate with vendors and manufacturers regarding warranty issues, returns, and purchase inquiries.

· Support the Service and Accounting Departments with administrative tasks and reporting.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and internal controls.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

· Minimum of 2 years of administrative, accounting, purchasing, or service department experience.

· Strong understanding of purchasing procedures and warranty administration.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

· 3:2 working schedule- 3 days in office, 2 days' work from home
