Engineer In Training (EIT) - Water/Wastewater

WestLand’s Tucson Engineering Department is adding an Engineer In Training to its Water/Wastewater team. The role focuses on water and wastewater system planning, infrastructure design, and treatment design, and provides exposure to a broad range of projects. Responsibilities Help create and develop written proposals, including technical writing as needed. Assist in the development of water and wastewater design projects, such as water distribution storage systems, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, lift stations, piping, conveyance systems, and other system details. Coordinate communication and delivery of information among WestLand, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. Learn to initiate and develop relationships with current and future clients and vendors. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related engineering discipline. Must be registered or able to register as an Engineer In Training (EIT). Preferred: prior experience in an engineering environment, water distribution and storage design, and wastewater collection or pump station design. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with AutoCAD software preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook). Salary $60,000 – $79,000 annually.
