You will work closely with customers, sales, consulting, and engineering to construct a product definition, a solution map, and roadmap, and define detailed product specifications.We’re looking for a self-starter that takes initiative with a natural ability to execute, adapt, and learn quickly when faced with ambiguity. You will work closely with a team of industry and technology A-players, who together are bringing to life the next generation of Veeva products to Medical Affairs.What You'll DoBe hands-on. Design, prototype, define, configure Veeva MedInquiry and validate solutions rapidly to ensure we solve the right problems, in the right orderBe agile. Design, implement, iterateBe a storyteller. Author & design high-quality specifications and communicate specific, actionable requirements to your engineering teammatesBe an owner. Create and manage the roadmap for your product area, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Keep up with the latest Medical Information software and Life Sciences industry trends, and distill them into product requirementsBe a team player. Work with Engineering, QA, and Product Management to build solutions that harmonize across Veeva applicationsTake pride in your work with a passion for excellenceRequirements8+ years of progressive experience in product managementExperience with case management and customer service intake channelsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated expertise in design, product development, and strategic planningExperience in researching and understanding customer and market requirements to develop short and long-term product roadmaps and plansExperience writing detailed user stories and managing a story backlogAbility to understand and communicate architectural requirements, preferences, and limitationsTrack record of effectively collaborating with engineering/QA to define, design, and deliver the productExperience with data modeling (ERDs) and LucidchartAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with ambiguityBachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related disciplineMust be based in a region in the Eastern Standard Time zoneQualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the USA or CanadaNice to HaveExperience in digital product design tools such as FigmaExperience in Medical InformationInterviewing with VeevaWe value your time and believe in a transparent hiring process.
