Job Summary:
Emergency Room Holding Area Nurse in Central City, Nebraska. This role involves working in a primarily Medical Surgical environment with floating to the Emergency Room at a Critical Access Hospital setting. The position provides an opportunity to deliver acute care services in a diverse clinical setting, supporting patient stabilization and throughput.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every third weekend; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, California Hospital Emergency (CAH) experience, at least 1 year of Medical Surgical experience, 1 year of Emergency Room experience with ER skills checklist, ACLS (AHA/ARC), BLS (AHA/ARC), TNCC certification, charge experience, Epic EMR experience within the past 12 months, and must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The facility is a Critical Access Hospital with trauma level requirements. Candidates must disclose previous employment with the organization; if previously employed, the end date must be within the last 12 months. Submission must confirm familiarity with California Hospital Emergency (CAH) Emergency Room and Medical Surgical needs. The unit notes indicate a focus on Medical Surgical care with floating responsibilities to the Emergency Room.
