The outgoing CFO is staying on board for a dedicated handover period to assist with systems, business nuances, and operational acclimation. True Executive Autonomy: Direct report and strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer, taking full ownership of short- and long-term financial strategy, job costing systems, and consolidated reporting. Broad Leadership Scope: Direct and indirect management across Finance, Accounting, and operational functions (including Fleet Management). Industry Experience Is Not Required: The business values functional capability, strategic thinking, and leadership over exact sector background. What We Are Looking For Background: Proven track record in a senior financial leadership seat (e.g., VP of Finance, VP of Accounting/Finance, Corporate Controller, or Senior Finance Director). Skills: Comprehensive grasp of financial modeling, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and job costing implementations. Systems: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Salesforce is highly advantageous. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; an MBA or CPA is preferred.
