If the answer is yes, we invite you to consider joining us in boldly challenging what's possible for a sustainable world.What you will do:In this role, you will be assisting Controls Technicians who are the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane customers in a defined market with a diverse commercial base including Healthcare, Process Manufacturing Facilities, Education Institutions, and Office Complexes. You will assist in the commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems in a commercial environment.Uses cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions.Displays team effort and dedication to customer by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weeks as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays.What you will bring:Technical Skills • Basic understanding of electrical and electronic circuits (Beginner– Intermediate) • Ability to safely use hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment (Beginner) • Basic wiring, sensor installation, and introductory software configuration (Beginner–Intermediate) • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings (Beginner) • Understanding of jobsite and electrical safety practices (Basic)Behavioral Skills • High willingness and ability to learn technical concepts and procedures • Attention to detail in documentation, wiring, and configuration tasks • Effective communication with mentors, journeymen, and supervisors • Dependability, punctuality, and teamwork • Basic problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic fieldAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:$18.36 - $30.67Compensation Type:HourlyIncentive Eligible:NoSales Commission Eligible:NoThrive at work and at home:Benefits kick in on DAY ONE for you and your family, including health insurance and holistic wellness programs that include generous incentives – WE DARE TO CARE!Family building benefits include fertility coverage and adoption/surrogacy assistance.401K match up to 6%, plus an additional 2% core contribution = up to 8% company contribution.Paid time off includes 15 vacation days, 9 paid holidays, 3 floating holidays, sick leave, and additional options to support volunteer and parental leave.Educational and training opportunities through company programs along with tuition assistance and student debt support.Safety Sensitive Role:YesThe company designates certain roles as Safety Sensitive.
