Elderwood of Lakeside at Brockport is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership for one of our nursing units. This is a visible, hands‑on leadership position for an RN who can bring structure, accountability, sound clinical judgement, and consistent support to a nursing team. You will partner closely with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, providers, rehabilitation professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to strengthen nursing practice, employee performance, and resident outcomes. You will have meaningful accountability for your unit - but you will not be expected to lead without support. Long-Term Relationships and Post-Acute Clinical Variety Elderwood of Lakeside at Brockport is a 120‑bed skilled nursing community offering long-term and memory care, subacute rehabilitation, IV therapy, and orthopedic, cardiac, post‑surgical, hospice, and palliative services. This clinical variety gives the RN Unit Manager the opportunity to strengthen nursing practice, develop employee competencies, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and build meaningful relationships with residents and families. Lead With Support Behind You As RN Unit Manager, you will provide 24‑hour oversight and accountability for your assigned unit while working primarily on a generally day‑shift schedule, with flexibility based on facility and unit needs. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing, ADON, Administrator, and interdisciplinary team. Facility clinical teams also receive support from Elderwood Administrative Services, including organization‑wide clinical leadership from the Chief Nursing Officer and an assigned Regional Nurse Consultant who serves as a resource to facility leaders. The Regional Nurse Consultant partners with the DON, ADON, Administrator, and clinical team to share best practices, help navigate complex challenges, and support priorities involving quality, regulatory readiness, clinical operations, and nursing leadership development.
