Operations Manager - CA

Role Summary The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team who drives store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through excellent customer service. The Operations Manager supports the Store Manager in total leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store, leading a productive store team and fostering a positive customer experience. Responsibilities Management : Lead and coordinate store crew activities, supervise and assign duties, communicate information in a timely manner, and assist the Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement. Customer Service : Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote a welcoming customer service culture. Maintain overall store management, supervision, and policy implementation. Manage sales and inventory, staff scheduling, training, and development. Oversee financial management and customer service leadership. Essential Functions Manage and lead store crew, supervising, assigning, and directing activities. Communicate effectively with crew and supervisors in an open, timely manner. Support the Store Manager with operational and service improvement plans. Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints, and promote CVS customer service culture. Required Qualifications Deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer skills. Advanced communication, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills. Ability to work a full‑time flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts and overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a retail manager or supervisor. Experience Prior experience in retail management or supervisory roles is preferred. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Pay Range Typical pay range: $23.47 – $37.47 per hour (base rate). The exact offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
