Position Title: Sit-Down Forklift Operator Location: East Side of El Paso, TX Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $11.50 $12.00 per hour Pay Frequency: Weekly Pay Benefits: Medical benefits available starting Day 1
Job Summary
RL Jones Warehouse is seeking reliable and safety-focused Sit-Down Forklift Operators to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Essential Job Duties
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
- Transport products throughout the warehouse
- Stack, organize, and store inventory in designated locations
- Assist with order picking and staging shipments as needed
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Job Requirements
- Previous sit-down forklift experience preferred
- Ability to pass forklift safety evaluation (if required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
