About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty required License: Active nursing license is preferred Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: - Telemetry interpretation experience Description: The position requires the ability to manage a patient ratio of 3-4 on day and evening shifts and 5-6 on night shifts. Candidates will be required to work every other weekend. The clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs. Must possess experience in managing cardiac telemetry and interpreting dysrhythmias. Responsibilities include administering blood products, managing BiPAP/CPAP, and compliance with isolation precautions. Additional skills such as IV management, oxygen administration, and PCA management are essential. Phlebotomy, respiratory services, and multidisciplinary team support will be available. Patient populations include adults with diagnoses such as carotid endarterectomies, open abdominal surgeries, and wound care needs. Potential candidates must comply with background checks and be prepared for fingerprinting requirements. This role necessitates attention to detail and effective communication skills. All candidates should be aware of vacation plans leading up to the start date to ensure scheduling aligns with department needs. Candidates must receive training in charting systems associated with their duties.
