• Role Description: The Interventional Radiology Technologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN. This position is responsible for performing interventional radiology procedures under the direction of physicians, including preparing procedure rooms, positioning patients, and operating imaging equipment. Daily tasks include adhering to radiation safety protocols, maintaining accurate procedure documentation, and ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness of radiologic equipment. The technologist collaborates with physicians and nursing staff to support vascular access procedures, monitors patients during imaging, and responds promptly to clinical needs. The role also involves verifying patient information, assisting with contrast administration as appropriate, and contributing to a safe, patient-centered care environment. Inventory Management will be part of your daily responsibility as well.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Radiologic Technology, including operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment in an interventional setting.
• Candidates should possess credentials or eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and maintain compliance with relevant certification and licensure requirements.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Radiation Safety practices, including dose optimization, protective equipment use, and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Medicine and Radiology as they relate to interventional procedures, vascular access, and dialysis patient care.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in interventional radiology, vascular access, or similar procedural environments is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow protocols, and commitment to patient safety and comfort.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
