As a Registered Nurse (RN), your daily responsibilities may include:
- Performing thorough patient assessments and identifying subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene promptly and advocate for your patients.
- Administering safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care grounded in sound clinical judgment.
- Collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers, offering insights that facilitate timely and coordinated care decisions.
- Delivering clear and compassionate education to patients and families, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and ready for the next steps in their care.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity and enhance patient safety.
- Participating in interdisciplinary rounds, contributing to effective communication and smooth transitions of care.
- Engaging actively in a collaborative team setting where shared accountability and teamwork directly influence outcomes.

Qualifications for this RN role include:
- An active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- A current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting is required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is strongly preferred or must be obtained within 5 years of hire.
- PALS, TNCC, and ACLS Certifications are preferred or must be acquired within 6 months of employment.
- 2-3 years of RN experience in Emergency Room or acute care is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (EMR), such as EPIC, is advantageous.
Working Conditions:
This role offers a Part-Time Night Shift schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with weekend and holiday rotations, totaling 24 hours per week. This schedule allows you to build strong relationships with patients while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
