Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Simpsonville, SC. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements. Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 26 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Perform patient evaluations and develop and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for the facility. Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment. Evaluate and create a plan of care, modifying it as indicated based on the patient's condition. Use the medical center computer systems in performance of daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged); exceptional candidates may be accepted with 1 year of experience. Active BLS certification. State-specific licensing. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
