Electrical Construction Journeyman

Electrical Construction Journeyman We are looking for skilled Journeymen Electricians to work full‑time at Excel Services Inc. The role includes installing power supply wiring and conduit, troubleshooting electrical components and circuits, maintaining panels and control systems, ensuring compliance with safety codes, and directing or training other workers. The position also requires diagnosing malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools. Journeymen Requirements Installing power supply wiring and conduit such as EMT, rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, cable trays Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems such as switch gears, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, conveyor systems, lighting, and power supplies Maintaining a current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations Testing electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes Inspecting systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or needed adjustments, and ensuring compliance with codes Directing or training workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components by locating cause of breakdowns and correcting problems General Requirements 4+ years of industrial electrical experience for Journeymen Must have a Kentucky Electrical License Must be able to run and bend rigid and EMT conduit Previous experience with underground work preferred Strong knowledge and awareness of safety Experience working with hand tools, power tools and electronic test equipment High standard of integrity and professionalism Drug‑free at all times Benefits Competitive wages Sign‑On Bonus: $4,000 for less than six years of experience; $6,000 for six or more years of experience, paid within 180 days for new hires in good standing Paid overtime Paid holidays PTO Employer‑paid health insurance, dental insurance, and life insurance (single policies, discounted for families) 401(k) matching Tuition reimbursement Company team bonus incentive Paid vacation and additional PTO Apprenticeship training for helpers #J-18808-Ljbffr
