Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shift (Days/Evenings/Nights) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge as Needed per Unit

Key Responsibilities

• Float between ICU specialty units — including MICU, SICU, Respiratory Special Care, and Surgical Progressive Care — based on staffing needs
• Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to patients across a range of intensive care specialties
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Maintain current knowledge and competency in critical care practices and protocols
• Fulfill charge nurse responsibilities as required by unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active New York (NY) RN License — NY license required; no other state licenses accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU acute care experience
• BLS certification — American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification — American Heart Association only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple ICU subspecialties (MICU, SICU, Respiratory, or Progressive Care)
• Prior float pool or multi-unit ICU experience
• Familiarity with charge nurse responsibilities
