We are seeking a talented and driven Module Development Engineer to join our Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) team within Intel's Advanced Packaging Technology Manufacturing (APTM) division, based in Arizona. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced semiconductor test and manufacturing solutions, directly contributing to Intel's next-generation technology roadmap. You will collaborate with world-class engineers, customers, and suppliers to solve complex challenges and deliver industry-leading results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead test technology and process solutions for new product designs and manufacturing scalability
• Optimize manufacturing techniques, including material selection, equipment metrology, and parameter refinement
• Design and implement sophisticated manufacturing processes and repair methodologies, including reverse engineering solutions
• Collaborate with customers to develop and optimize production testing strategies
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure process compatibility across upstream and downstream manufacturing operations
• Engage with equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling technologies that support Intel's roadmap
• Drive process and equipment improvements to enhance performance, yield, efficiency, and manufacturability
• Test and characterize analog circuits for power and thermals, including thermal profiling and recipe tuning for production thermal control
• Provide calibration for power delivery, enabling power and performance binning
• Perform ATE and bench device characterization

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related STEM field with 4+ years of industry experience OR Master's degree in the same fields with 3+ years of industry experience OR Ph.D. in the same fields
• Working knowledge of RF lab equipment including mixed-signal, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, and TDRs
• Additional relevant industry experience can be any of the following:
  • 2+ years of experience in ATE testing, test methodology, electronics design, or product development
  • 2+ years of IC Test experience
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing process improvement, problem-solving, and excursion management
  • Technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in:

• • Digital, analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed testing, including tester hardware design
  • Material handling systems including high-speed/accuracy pick-and-place, motion control, and vision systems
  • Automated Test Equipment collateral
  • Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing process and equipment challenges

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $115,110.00-219,550.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
