Sr. Mental Health Clinician - Program for Assertive Community Treatment

* Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field from accredited college or university.* One year of experience working with psychiatrically impaired populations.* Must apply for a Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered (CAAR) credential from the WA State Department of Health within 30 days of hire* Must have an unrestricted and valid driver’s license, be able to pass a motor vehicle screening and driving test, have active car insurance, and be willing to use their personal vehicle in the course of work.* Knowledge of service delivery models including groups, skills training, evidence-based psychotherapy modalities, and community-based interventions for individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.* Ability to communicate and engage effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds, trauma experiences, cultures, education level and socio-economic status.* Ability to gain knowledge of WACs, RCWs, and Tool for Measurement of ACT (TMACT) fidelity evaluation tool.* Strong engagement and customer service skills, empathy, ability to remain calm, professional, and clear headed during escalated situations.* Demonstrate evidence of critical thinking, decision-making ability, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.* This position provides client services in community settings daily. Community settings include but are not limited to residences, group/congregate living settings, hospitals, shelters, the streets or anywhere in the community at large.* Some environments may not be ideal in terms of cleanliness or being habitable.* Daily travel between locations is required.* The ability to drive a vehicle, traverse distances up to several city blocks and on various terrains, navigate stairs, get in and out of vehicles frequently is required.* Daily use of a computer is required.* May be required to lift 10 – 20 pounds.* Blood-borne Pathogen Category III - No predictable exposure to blood-borne pathogens.* Medical, Dental and Vision* Retirement – We offer an impressive 403b plan including standard 3% employer contribution plus an additional 3% employer match.* Flexible Spending Accounts* Life Insurance – Company paid coverage that starts the first of the month following 6 months from your date of hire.
