Assistant Store Manager Assistant Store Manager oversees daily store operations, ensuring a customer‑focused experience and team success. Responsibilities Execute workforce management to maintain customer focus on sales floor. Welcome customers warmly and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits. Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers. Model service standards and omnichannel experience while coaching staff. Analyze business results, communicate KPIs, and take actions to improve performance. Build customer loyalty through company‑sponsored programs and credit. Assist Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, and development of the store team. Recognize exceptional performance and redirect employees as needed. Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results using company tools. Partner with Store Manager to plan and execute merchandising standards, promotions, markdowns, and product placement. Reduce loss through consistent customer service, education, and operational controls. Qualifications Positive, solutions‑oriented mindset. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and customer engagement skills. Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, web navigation). Minimum 1 year of retail or related management experience. High school diploma or GED. Ability to lift 40 pounds, climb ladders, stand or walk for extended periods.
