Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Manage and provide care for a caseload of patients with respiratory, cardiac, and GI systems issues, as well as potential ortho patients.
• Work within a "team" consisting of an RN, LPN, and PCT for up to 9 patients, adjusting to "modified teams" as necessary.
• Float to other med/surg units as required.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting.
• Participate in special procedures and deliver care aligned with patient diagnoses and the care delivery model.

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Current NY state RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience with EPIC charting system
