TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Garden City, Kansas, 67846!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in MS-Tele License: Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: 2 years of MS-Tele experience in the last 3 years Description: Candidates must be flexible and willing to float within the assigned zone. Travelers are responsible for securing housing within the assigned area. Schedulers release work schedules 4-6 weeks in advance. Nurses may be assigned to various units based on patient needs. Patient ratios are typically 1:5-6 based on acuity levels. Common patient populations include adults and geriatrics across various specialties. Experience in neuro and familiarity with specific equipment is preferred. Charge nurses typically do not take patient assignments unless necessary. Shifts are scheduled from 7 am to 7 pm. Weekend requirements are 6-9 shifts in a 6-week schedule. Holiday rotation may be required. Travelers should anticipate floating to different units depending on the needs. Communication about float assignments will occur prior to the start of each week. All travelers are expected to assist in filling gaps within the schedule as needed. Completion of necessary certifications is required before starting the position.
