Customer Success Manager

Location: Madison, WI (4 days onsite, 1 day work from home when not traveling) Travel: 50-70% travel to customer sites throughout the US (expenses covered) LOA: 6 Months CONTRACT TO HIRE Position Overview Our client is seeking a highly motivated Customer Success Manager to serve as the primary post-sale resource for customers utilizing autonomous material handling solutions. This is a hands‑on, customer‑focused role responsible for ensuring successful deployment, adoption, training, troubleshooting, and long‑term customer satisfaction after implementation. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship builder and problem solver who enjoys being on customer sites, working through challenges, conducting training, and ensuring customers achieve maximum value from their investment. This individual will act as the bridge between customers and internal teams, taking ownership of customer success long after the sale is complete. Key Responsibilities Support deployment and implementation of autonomous forklift and material handling solutions (technical training on specific equipment will be provided). Troubleshoot technical issues and provide Tier I/Tier II customer support. Train customers and internal teams on autonomous products and best practices. Conduct product demonstrations, customer visits, and deployment support activities. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer feedback and post‑deployment success. Perform 30/60/90‑day customer check‑ins and annual site visits to ensure ROI and product utilization goals are achieved. Partner with sales, engineering, operations, and aftermarket teams to drive customer success and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in customer success, implementation, field service, deployment, automation, robotics, material handling, industrial equipment, or related industries. Strong customer‑facing communication and training abilities. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively. Pluses Experience with AGVs, robotics, automation, forklifts, industrial equipment, or warehouse operations is highly preferred, but not a must as technical training will be provided. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
