We are seeking a full time Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. This position is a great opportunity to gain professional experience in a private, specialty medical office setting; as an MA, you will also work a set schedule that allows for work/life balance (i.e. no nights!).

The MA is an integral member of our clinical team. Working alongside nurses and providers on a daily basis, ensuring efficiency and quality care for patients.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming patients into our practice and assisting with their questions
• Preparing patients for the health care visit by verifying their information, reviewing and recording medical history, taking vital signs, confirming purpose of visit or treatment
• Supporting patient care delivery
• Completing records by entering orders as directed by physician and recording test results into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Preparing exam rooms for patients
• Keeping supplies stocked and ready, placing orders, and verifying receipt
• Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment
• Maintaining patient confidence and protecting operations by keeping patient care information confidential.

Starting wage range: $17 - $22/hour

• High school diploma or equivalent
