Responsibilities Provide therapy under the direction of an on-site supervising Occupational Therapist Direct fun and engaging therapeutic treatment for individual sessions and classrooms Monitor student progress to ensure student is making progress on goals and/or focus areas Document data and progress on daily therapy notes and quarterly progress reports Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of special education teachers, speech pathologists, psychologists, and occupational therapy team Requirements Preference 3+ years of experience as a COTA Experience in pediatrics with preference of experience in a school-based setting Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Demonstrates professionalism and maintains integrity Committed to providing quality care and actively contributing to a positive team environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize student needs and responsibilities Salaried position based on experience in a range o f $50,000 to 60,000 per year for a 40 hour work week School hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. following a school calendar, with paid sick time, paid holidays, and paid time off Full benefits including health, vision and dental insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr New Way Academy
