The Office for Prospective Students recruits and supports prospective students from Nevada, across the United States, and around the world. Admission Coordinators play a vital role in representing the University and helping prospective students navigate the admissions process, financial aid, scholarships, and academic opportunities.As a Coordinator, Admissions and Recruitment 1, you will build relationships with prospective students, families, school counselors, and community partners while serving as an ambassador for the University of Nevada, Reno. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Recruit prospective students by conducting presentations and outreach at assigned high schools, community colleges, and rural communities.Plan, coordinate, and participate in recruitment events, including high school visits, college fairs, receptions, campus events, and individual appointments.Develop and implement strategic recruitment initiatives to increase enrollment in assigned territories, including out-of-state markets.Advise prospective students and their families on admissions requirements, academic programs, course placement, financial aid, scholarships, and the enrollment process.Promote the University's tuition savings opportunities, including the Nevada Advantage and Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) programs.Build and maintain strong partnerships with school counselors, educators, and community organizations to support recruitment efforts.Monitor enrollment and demographic trends in Nevada, California, and other assigned recruitment regions, providing recommendations to enhance recruitment strategies.Represent the University with professionalism and enthusiasm while delivering exceptional customer service to prospective students and their families.If you enjoy connecting with students, traveling, building relationships, and making a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys, we encourage you to apply and join our dedicated admissions team.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree and (2) two years of related work experience or a Master's Degree and (1) two year of related work experience.
