Job Description Manage diverse civil litigation defense matters from discovery through trial preparation. Draft and respond to discovery requests, prepare pleadings, and develop effective litigation strategies. Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and participate in case evaluations and settlement discussions. Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to drive cases toward successful resolutions. Research complex legal issues and prepare persuasive legal documents and court filings. Build strong client relationships while delivering efficient, results‑driven representation. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active California Bar membership in good standing. 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in a defense practice. Experience with written discovery and taking or defending depositions. Experience in personal injury, construction defect, habitability, insurance coverage, product liability, or professional liability litigation is highly desirable. Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
