About the Role:
Join MEDDERS CONSTRUCTION CO INC as a Framer and play a crucial role in shaping the structures that define our communities. We are looking for skilled individuals who are passionate about construction and craftsmanship to help us deliver exceptional results in every project. This is a temporary position for 2-3 weeks while we remodel an AutoZone.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials to construct walls, floors, and roofs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction.
• Install structural components, including beams, columns, and trusses.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and adherence to safety standards.
• Inspect and repair existing framing structures as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete framing tasks.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a framer or in a similar construction role.
• Strong knowledge of framing techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in framing.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.
