Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of hands-on experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing diesel vehicles, commercial motor vehicles, and equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of diagnostic tools, and the ability to work independently while maintaining accurate service records.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel vehicles, commercial motor vehicles, and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Repair and replace engines, steering systems, transmissions, braking systems, lighting systems, and related components.
• Use computer diagnostic equipment and software to identify mechanical and engine issues.
• Perform annual DOT inspections on commercial motor vehicles.
• Conduct test drives to evaluate vehicle performance and verify repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Diesel mechanic experience.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.
• Experience servicing commercial motor vehicles and diesel equipment.
• Proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and repair documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
