Ourcurrentresearch is focused onelucidatingcellular and circuit mechanisms of flexible decision-making(e.g.,McBurney-Linet al.,Cell Reports, 2022; Nigro et al.,eLife, 2026).We employ multi-disciplinary approaches, includingin vivopatch-clampandmulti-channelelectrophysiology,calcium imaging,optogenetics,chemogenetics,quantitative animal behaviorand computationalmodelingtounderstand the cellular and circuit mechanismsunderlyingfrontal andneuromodulatoryregulation ofbehavioral flexibilityin mice.
