Sr. Design Engineer

Aegis is seeking a Sr. Design Engineer to join our client's organization in Chicago. (60629) The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience: Must Haves: Minimum 4 years of design engineering experience. Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software and AutoCAD. Strong mechanical design skills including 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and assemblies to ANSI standards. Hands-on experience comfortable working at heights (up to 20ft), taking field measurements, using scissor lifts. Ability to pass a physical, drug test (9-panel, non-marijuana), and background check. Comfortable working with desk/office on the plant floor. Plus Haves: Design experience for food manufacturing plant equipment. Conveyor and material handling design experience. Knowledge of packaging machinery (wrapping, vertical bagging, weighing, robotic equipment). Knowledge of process/plant equipment (extruders, pumps, heat exchangers, low pressure boiler systems). Familiarity with food processing GMP practices. Basic knowledge of OSHA requirements for industrial applications. Experience coordinating with food OEM partners. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ripple Foods
