Job Details Position: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Gaffney, South Carolina 29340 Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week Weekly Hours: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 - $1,820 Unit Type: Resource Pool / Med-Surg Telemetry Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:6 Float Expectation: May float within scope to support facility needs Weekend Coverage: As needed On-Call Requirement: Yes Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain before start Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry or related acute care experience; 2 years preferred Travel nursing experience required Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Ability to interpret, monitor, and manage dysrhythmias Recent Epic experience preferred Ability to pass telemetry competency testing on day one Must be able to pass medication and arrhythmia testing during orientation Comfortable floating to similar nursing units within scope as needed COVID-19 vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions only Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Administer medications and support daily patient care needs in an acute care environment Assess, document, and communicate patient status clearly and accurately Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes Care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including sepsis, dementia, post-op recovery, orthopedic conditions, chest pain, and stroke rule-outs Maintain compliance with unit policies, orientation requirements, and clinical standards Adapt quickly to changing patient needs in a resource pool and hospital nursing setting Why Consider This South Carolina Travel RN Job?
