Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized endoscopy and gastrointestinal care to patients, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards. This role requires strong clinical skills, certification verification, and adherence to travel and scheduling policies.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality endoscopy and GI nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
• Obtain and verify necessary certifications, licenses, and clearances prior to assignment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of required modules and certifications during orientation.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health records, with emphasis on Epic charting experience.
• Coordinate with management to accommodate scheduled RTO requests and manage call responsibilities.
• Verify work history and background checks, including criminal history and employment verification, within specified timeframes.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid CA RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications in hand.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent clinical experience in an endoscopy or GI setting.
• Be available for day shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) and flexibly engage in weekend and weekday call coverage.
• Demonstrate compliance with travel requirements, including availability for lab work within 3-5 days of signing.
• Provide clear background status, specifying any prior DUI or background hits.
• Submit current work history verification spanning 7 years, with contacts or documentation as needed.
