Travel RN – Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | No weekends or on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures unit on the first-floor Radiology department
• Assist with and support procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, port placement, and permanent catheter placement
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation during interventional procedures
• Collaborate with IR technologists and radiologists within a small, specialized team environment
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Texas or a compact state
• Moderate sedation experience required (certification may be obtained on-site if candidate has the experience but is not yet certified)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IR-specific procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, port placement, and permanent catheter placement
