They assist in establishing and maintaining a patient care environment that is clean, safe and conducive to patient/family wellbeing including concepts of relationship-based care.Shifts Available6:30 am-3:00pmStatus AvailableFull-timeThe DepartmentThe department is closed on the holidays and weekends.Required Education / LicensureHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of one year of previous direct care experience (acute or long term) or successful completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.What You Will DoTraining is provided to prepare our colleagues for success.The PCT assists in streamlining the workflow in the Noninvasive Diagnostic Services Department, including patient transport, toileting, transferring, and ambulation with assistive devices.The PCT assists with cleaning the transesophageal echocardiogram probes, helps order supplies and stock the department, and records patient information and required data in appropriate areas in order to meet documentation requirements.Responsibilities of the PCT also includes inserting or removing peripheral IV catheters under the direction of the Registered Nurse, patient procedure preparation by applying monitoring equipment, and running supplies to TEEs, vascular studies, or echocardiograms done outside of the department.Other duties as assigned.Total Rewards and BenefitsCompetitive compensation, DAILY PAYBenefits effective Day One!
