Project Engineer

Metric Geo has partnered with a leading heavy civil and infrastructure construction firm, that are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support public and private projects throughout the region. This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on exposure to large-scale construction while working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the country. Key Responsibilities Support the Project Manager and field team through all phases of construction. Review drawings and specifications and assist in interpreting them for field crews. Perform quantity take-offs and track completed/installed work. Assist with scheduling, work packages, and material coordination. Maintain project documentation, submittals, and as-built records. Participate in jobsite safety reviews and toolbox meetings. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 0–3 years of relevant experience; internships or co-ops in heavy civil construction a plus. Strong communication skills and high attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation a plus.
