Job Location Attleboro, Massachusetts Summary Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results. What You Will Be Doing Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; reject and return unacceptable materials. Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; communicate required adjustments to the production supervisor. Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; return products for rework when applicable; confirm rework. Work independently on complex assignments, demonstrating initiative to resolve issues and recommend new procedures. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing rework and waste, and inputting data into the quality database. Evaluate problems and make recommendations. Participate in the Corrective Action process. What You Will Bring Along 5+ years’ quality control experience in inspection is preferred. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems is a plus. Use computerized data collection equipment and software to record inspection data and generate process capability and other SQC charts. Utilize measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and force gauges; knowledge of Keyence inspection machines is a plus. Evaluate and complete special customer quality assurance requirements (e.g., first article inspection, SPC charts and data, and other customer paperwork). Read and interpret blueprints and drawings; working knowledge of GD&T; understand x, y, z coordinate systems. General proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is a plus. Compensation Pay will be $23–$25 per hour with a 10% differential for second‑shift operators. Required Background This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
