Assembly Technician

Position Overview:
- This position ensures proper fittings and attachment to hose in line with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Responsible for all computer input required for the position.
- Obtaining correct hose and hose length for customer order.
- Hydrostatically testing hose when required.
- Cutting, skiving and crimping hose and inspection.
- Hydrostatically testing hose to proof pressure when required.
- Capping hose ends and delivering to Shipping Dept.
- Must be familiar with, and follow, all standard operating procedures and guidelines.
- Knowledge of how and where to locate procedures and forms relevant to this position.

- Must meet the Qualified Job Rate in training determined by Department Supervisor.
- Indoctrination and NRP's Quality Manual and specified requirements regarding job responsibilities.
- Operate a saw, crimper and skiver machines.
- Knowledge of Crimping Spec and how to crimp hose properly.
- Operate hydrostatic testing equipment.
- Strong literacy and comprehension skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of company indoctrination.
- Successful completion of safety training programs.
- Understanding of the company's Quality System and processes.
