Pay Rate: $20.14 / Hour Job Schedule Tue 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government transportation facility. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, buildings, parking areas, waterfront access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as required. Maintain a professional presence to help deter unauthorized access, support orderly operations, and provide assistance or directions to visitors and personnel. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
