STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is the in-house engineering business line of Structural Group.**Sr Project Manager – Heavy Civil****Structural Technologies / VSL****Location:** Manassas, VA supporting projects throughout the Northeast Region**Travel:** Approximately 20–25%At Structural Technologies/VSL, we are growing our Heavy Civil division and looking for an experienced Project Manager to help lead some of the most challenging and specialized infrastructure projects in the industry.As part of Structural Group — an industry leader in making structures stronger and last longer since 1976 — Structural Technologies delivers innovative, technology-driven solutions across the commercial, transportation, public works, and water/wastewater markets. As the exclusive provider of VSL post-tensioning systems and VSL cable stays in the United States, we are recognized for solving complex engineering challenges with unmatched technical expertise.**What You’ll Do**As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex heavy civil construction projects from planning through execution while partnering closely with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.Projects may include:* Bridge inspection, repair, and strengthening* Post-tensioning installation and repair* Structural concrete placement and beam erection* CFRP and structural strengthening systems* Water & wastewater structures* Design-build and self-perform specialty construction**Key Responsibilities*** Lead project safety and quality initiatives while mentoring field teams* Manage schedules, budgets, forecasting, and project P&L* Oversee contracts, buyouts, subcontractors, and procurement* Coordinate work plans, submittals, and equipment needs* Partner with estimating and sales teams on proposals and bid reviews* Build and maintain strong client relationships* Provide leadership to Project Engineers, Field Managers, Superintendents, and crews**What We’re Looking For*** Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field* 7–12 years of heavy civil construction experience* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously* Experience managing projects ranging from $1M–$10M+* Background in bridge work, post-tensioning, structural concrete, strengthening, or related specialty construction* Strong working knowledge of: + Microsoft Office Suite + HCSS + MS Project or Primavera P6 + Procore and related project management tools* Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills* Willingness to travel regionally as needed**Why Join Structural Technologies/VSL?*** Industry-leading specialty contractor with national resources* Complex, high-profile infrastructure projects* Collaborative, growth-oriented team environment* Career advancement and leadership development opportunities* Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package including: + Medical & dental insurance + 401(k) + Paid holidays & vacation + Tuition reimbursement + Professional development opportunities*Anticipated base salary between $135k-155k based off education and experience.*If you’re looking to build a career with a company that values innovation, safety, quality, and leadership — we’d love to hear from you.**Apply today and help us make structures stronger and last longer.**Structural Technologies is proud of a company culture that promotes 24/7 safety and quality.
