Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
New Hope Veterinary Clinic
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting veterinarians with patient examinations and treatments
- Safely restraining and handling small and large animal patients
- Preparing exam rooms and surgical suites
- Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining instruments and equipment
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Providing exceptional client service and education
- Assisting with inventory, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, organized hospital
- Assisting with both in-clinic appointments and farm calls
Qualifications:
- Previous veterinary assistant experience preferred
- Mixed animal experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work with both companion animals and livestock
