About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Data and AI to lead the development and execution of its enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and implementing robust data governance, quality, and management frameworks, as well as building trusted, consistent, and scalable data foundations to support business decision-making and AI initiatives. This role involves close partnership with commercial, operational, and functional leaders to identify opportunities for analytics, automation, and process improvement, and driving the alignment of data platforms to create a more integrated technology ecosystem. The Head of Data and AI will also be tasked with championing data literacy and helping business stakeholders understand the commercial importance of high-quality data. Applicants for the Head of Data and AI position at the company should have a proven track record in leading enterprise data, analytics, AI, or digital transformation programs, with a strong background in data governance, ownership, and quality frameworks. Practical experience in deploying and scaling AI solutions within a business environment is essential, as is a strong understanding of ERP ecosystems, business intelligence platforms, data architecture, and enterprise data management. The role requires the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes, experience in leading high-performing teams, and strong commercial acumen for effective partnership across business functions. While not mandatory, experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, distribution, or other operationally focused environments, as well as exposure to ERP modernization or enterprise transformation programs, is preferred.
