Principal Test Engineer

Performs, documents, and leads large test teams in executing integration, regression, functional, and digital accessibility testing of highly complex and moderately integrated systems to ensure compliance with system requirements, use cases, and accessibility standards by following Navy Federal test practices and policies and utilizing approved testing tools. Writes complex test plans using expert level technical knowledge related to testing and accessibility conformance evaluation. Conducts the analysis of functional, technical, and accessibility requirements, and creates and edits test cases for new or modified systems. Detects and documents defects/bugs identified during testing and recommends prioritization for solutioning of defects. Acts as mentor for peers on moderately complex testing processes and accessibility testing methodologies.
